GAEA Innovation Bootcamp Inspired and Empowered Women to Thrive in Agribusiness
The GAEA Innovation Bootcamp, held from March 18-20, 2025, at the Czech University of Life Sciences, brought together over 75 participants from across Europe for a transformative and impactful event. As part of the EU-funded GAEA Project, the Bootcamp was designed to empower young women in agribusiness, agri-food, and agritourism, offering a unique blend of expert-led workshops, cutting-edge digital tools, and valuable networking opportunities.

Prague Prepares to Host the GAEA Innovation Bootcamp, A Game-Changer for Women in Agribusiness
With just a few weeks to go, anticipation is building for the GAEA Innovation Bootcamp, set to take place from March 18th to 20th, 2025, at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. Designed to empower women in agribusiness, agrifood, and agrotourism, this three-day intensive program is part of the GAEA Project (Granting Access to Employment & Entrepreneurship in Agriculture for Women), a European initiative focused on equipping young women with the skills, knowledge, and networks to thrive in the agricultural sector.

GAEA is a forward looking project aiming to Inspire - Mentor - Nurture - Empower - Train women (especially those that are currently neither in employment nor in education and training (NEET situation) and / or have a migrant background to perceive entrepreneurship as a valid career choice and to thrive as successful, confident and resourceful entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs who have a digital mindset and are able to innovate, protect the environment and generate sustainable growth and employment in rural areas across EU countries.

The GAEA project was presented at one of the official parallel events at the 68th Session of the
UN CSW68
The 68th annual Commission on the Status of Women (CSW68), the UN’s largest annual gathering on gender equality and women’s empowerment, concluded after eleven days of deliberations from March 11 to March 22, 2024. The priority theme of this year's session was “Accelerating the achievement of gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls by addressing poverty and strengthening institutions and financing with a gender perspective”.

Raising awareness of the importance of upskilling and reskilling women in rural areas
A key part of any project is communicating and disseminating the results to those who will benefit from the outcome of the work. It is why the multi-actor approach can be a very useful tool in research and innovation projects, as it ensures that the key result-users are part of the design and implementation of the project.

GAEA Innovation Bootcamp
Prague, Czech Republic – The upcoming GAEA Innovation Bootcamp will be held in Prague from March 18th to 20th, 2025, as a key initiative within the EU-funded GAEA Project. This intensive, 3-day training program will bring together young women, experienced mentors, and SMEs from across Europe to develop skills and foster innovation in agriculture, agrifood, and agrotourism sectors. Funded under the Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovation program, the GAEA project comprises a partnership of 13 organizations from 10 European countries, including Cyprus, Greece, and the Czech Republic.

IMH together with GrantXperts Consulting presented the Innovative European Project «GAEA Granting Access to Employment & entrepreneurship in Agriculture for women» to local stakeholders in Cyprus, on 25th of October at Gardens of Future in Nicosia.
